Crime rate among military veterans
There has been increasing crime rate among the military veterans. The propensity to commit crime among military can be to a great extent attributed to Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). PTSD is a mental disorder that develops after a person has experienced or witnessed a traumatic or frightening event in which serious physical harm occurred or was threatened. Such life threatening even that threatens or destabilizes the well-being of an individual includes but not limited to road accident, loss of a loved one, plane crashes, war and combats, rape child abuse and violent relationships (Mayo clinic.Com).
