As a result, the company offers fresh food products to their customers as a strategy of satisfying and retaining them. This report identifies the potential challenges for Food Connect related to sustainability by analysing the strengths and weaknesses of the company. Therefore, this report begins with an introduction of the company. This report then analyses the task environment of the company, and offers a critical reflection of the potential challenges of the company in relation to sustainability. Lastly, this report gives a conclusion and offers recommendations on how the company should address the identified challenges.
The performance and success of any company are influenced by task and internal environments. The task environment factors affecting Food Connect in Australia include customers, suppliers, and employees among others. The performance of the company is influenced by the culture of the indigenous people in the market. An analysis of the culture of the indigenous people indicated that knowledge is accessed by some people such as the elder people and hence healthy eating habits would only be known by a section of the community members. The company does not employ social media marketing to achieve sustainability in marketing which would increase the company’s brand awareness in the market.
